no! It was so sudden. I was on my way to work when he just started barfing. The pet hospital did some blood work and found out about the infection. Hes looking better today so Im glad for the meds

lol well Im glad to hear your dog is okay. Keep him on the antibiotics and he should be fine. Do you know how he got the infection?

Starting the story that Gestalt is apart of, if its accepted well enough by those on DA then I'll continue it, if not, I'll store it away and move onto the next story. Rinse, and repeat. All the while getting better, and taking on the RSOM contest annually, after the contest, if I win, great, if I dont, submit to Wirepop, and Sevenseas, if I get into either one of those, great, if I dont, continue whatever comic I got up and running here on DA until RSOM comes along again. Rinse, and repeat. Keeping on that track, one day I'll see my dream come to fruition.
I have at least one great fan (you) so far so I can manage, and be patient.

AH! Slump reversed on the old Art law eh? Well Great .. and About the contest, It goes with out saying that of course Sprite and other abilities give you brownie points in the eyes of the judges. So what do you have planned next now that your ready and happy?

Well, he copied the style of the designer (like many did) which I dont like. The character itself was good, but not obviously better than all the rest. What really won it for that person (I think) is the fact that he knows how to mess with sprites/data and stuff which resulted in him having screenshots of his character in the game. This, of course, not everyone can do so its dissapointing, and incredibly unfair, but what am I to do? D:
It seems that the judges didnt see to the heart of the character, and merely went for raw skill (Like that one guy who made the character "Reaper" who should feel horrible for joining the contest IMO. I know I wouldnt if I was that good). In which case, 90% (or more) shouldnt even have entered because there was really no chance (myself included).
Dissapointing? Overly.
Reality? Sadly, yes.
On a lighter note, Ive removed myself from my slump. Cant drag my feet if I plan on succeeding.

I never thought I would win lol so it wasnt dissapointing in that sense, but I was dissapointed to see who won. Some deserved it, others didnt IMO.
